Joining a high-performing, brand-new division we are searching for a fantastic Billing Manager to run our HR&R team here at Portfolio. You will initially inherit a team of 3 (2 London-based, 1 in our Manchester office) with huge scope to grow the team in to a fantastic division running alongside our other expanding teams.

This role will offer:

  • A hugely competitive basic salary/overall package including team-performance bonuses on top of your commission and personal bonus earnings.
  • Huge autonomy over driving and leading this division under the stewardship of a hugely experienced team of Directors.
  • A massive market to attack with all of your Consultants (and yourself of course) joining warm desks in an established business. Huge areas for growth moving forward both with physical, office space and re-investment in to the business projected.

In order to be considered for this role you must:

  • Have a proven track-record of billings, preferably within a HR/office support-focused recruitment business (or similar) alongside management/leadership experience in previous roles.
  • Be a hugely inspiring, approachable and hard-working individual willing to focus their efforts on growing the Portfolio brand.
  • Extremely organised and able to manage both your diary as well as delegate responsibility to your team. This role will come with regular meetings/updates with the London office and you’ll be expected to be able to jump in to these conversations at a hat’s drop.
  • Comfortable networking at the top end of business. Portfolio work with some of the world’s best-known brands, this position will see you prospecting, winning and retaining with these types of companies.

With new business levels at a record high we are seeking out talented and passionate recruiters (both focusing on Permanent and Temporary/Contract/Interim placements) to join our rapidly-expanding HR&R division. Our increased business levels make this the perfect time for recruiters from any previous specialisms to be joining Portfolio (cross-training provided if necessary) for a progressive career in our fantastic, newly designed office space in the heart of the City.

Portfolio’s Recruitment Consultants will:

  • Have the opportunity to recruit for some of the biggest and most respected clients in the country working on a high volume of live vacancies across multiple industry sectors ranging from Financial Services to Technology, Media to Retail, FMCG to Manufacturing, Construction to Hospitality, Education to Healthcare and Aerospace to Automotive
  • Take immediate ownership of existing key client relationships (warm desks) and be responsible for ongoing development and pipelining of new clients.
  • Act as a ‘sector expert’ to your clients, candidates and colleagues, including cross selling for other Portfolio division consultants. This will mean you’re in your development of attracting active and passive talent to market and prospect to live and potential vacancies with our clients.
  • Be expected to hold candidate and client meetings to better understand needs, wants and motivations – providing an honest and consultative approach.
  • Provide ongoing strategic planning to grow and expand your client and candidate pool in order to achieve full earning potential.
